The Dhobi System
A Dhobi is a traditional washerman who collects your clothes, washes, irons, and
returns them for a tiny fee (often per piece).
Warning: They use harsh detergents and "beating" techniques. Do not give them
delicate silks or expensive synthetics.
Laundromats?
Coin-operated laundromats are rare in India. You either own a washing machine or use a service like "UClean" or "DhobiLite" which are modern app-based laundry chains.
